Who is the organizer of IFA?
IFA is organized by The German Association for Entertainment and Communications Electronics (gfu) in cooperation with Messe Berlin.
Are children allowed to attend the IFA by themselves?
Children who have not yet reached age 15 are only allowed to enter the fairgrounds if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Exceptions apply only if explicitly stated on postings at the ticket office.

Where do I find a complete list of all IFA exhibitors?
You can find all exhibitors from the previous IFA at IFA Virtual. You can search according to a variety of parameters, including exhibitor name or industry. Please note that all data are constantly updated.
Tickets
Where can I get tickets for IFA?
You can secure your IFA ticket online in advance at ifaticket.de!
Visitors from outside Germany should contact Messe Berlin's foreign representatives (AV) in their home country directly. Our AVs offer favorable ticket conditions and support you in your travel preparations to IFA.
Do you offer free entrance for children?
Yes, children up to 6 years can enter the IFA without a ticket.
We are a school class and would like to order group tickets for the IFA. What do we have to do? What are the advantages of group tickets?
School classes, together with their teacher, have the opportunity to visit IFA in Berlin for only 38.00 EUR (+ 5.95 EUR handling fee). The school class ticket can only be ordered with the appropriate form in advance of IFA.Those planning their individual IFA visit with friends will benefit from the student ticket for only 9.00 EUR (upon presentation of the student ID). Is admission free for people accompanying wheelchair users?
If the symbol "B", "Bl", "GL", "aG" or "H" is on your severely disabled pass, admission is free for an accompanying person.
Does the IFA ticket include free public transport within Berlin?
No! IFA tickets or exhibitor badges do NOT entitle to use Berlin public transport like busses, metro or suburban trains for free.
Trade Visitors
You are a trade visitor, if you can affirm one of the following statements:
- visiting IFA because of professional reasons and/or interest
- belong to the CE-trade (retailer, whole-sale)
- working in a company of the consumer electronics industry, e.g. product development, sales, marketing
- writing for CE professional media
- working in research/development institutes or in a management consultancy
What are my benefits as a trade visitor?

How can I register as a trade visitor?
Registration as a trade visitor takes place automatically with either the purchase of a trade visitor ticket or the submission of a ticket voucher. Before the IFA starts, take advantage of convenient online registration at the IFA Ticketshop. During the IFA, trade visitor tickets will be available at all IFA box offices at the entrances to the trade fair. If you are not from Germany please contact directly the foreign representatives of Messe Berlin in your country. Our representatives will help you to buy tickets and support you with your travel preparations to Germany.
Do trade visitors get automatically access to the separate dealer areas?
Access is not granted automatically. In some cases, an individual invitation from the exhibitor is required.

Where can I find the updated map of the exhibition site?
The map and hall allocation can be found on our website in the section About IFA. Please note that it is regularly updated.
Where can I find the plans of individual halls?
The plans will be available a few weeks before the show. They can be accessed at IFA Virtual.

IFA Virtual
What is IFA Virtual?
The IFA Virtual online platform serves as an additional and industry-specific marketing channel before, during and after the trade show and supports media representatives and trade visitors to IFA in their preparation and follow-up work. The IFA Virtual online platform will go online in mid-July.
As an exhibitor, you can manage an overview of your product and program highlights here, as well as your personal profile, in order to get in touch with media representatives and trade visitors at IFA 2022.
